As an expert in navigation and bridge systems, we have always been a safe, reliable partner for our customers. We honour our promises and contracts and support our customers with after-sales services throughout the entire service life of our products. We are a long-term partner for our customers and create added value through our excellently trained and healthy employees. Ensuring this in the long term is a core value of our company. That is why we apply holistic standards that promote and sustainably ensure the safety and quality of our products and services, the well-being of our employees and our compatibility with the environment and society.
We understand sustainability to mean the responsibility for the protection of our oceans and environment, for our employees and customers, and for society.
Through EcoVadis, one of the largest and most recognised providers of corporate sustainability ratings, we underwent an external assessment of our sustainability programme. The assessment is based on the international GRI/G4 (Global Reporting Initiative) and ISO 26000 guidelines and is carried out in the categories of environment, labour and human rights, sustainable procurement and ethics.
In 2023, we were certified for the first time with an impromptu Bronze Medal. Since then, we have gradually improved in the individual categories and are continuing our efforts to develop sustainability as an important value for Anschütz.

Anschütz systems operate under intensive use and the harshest environmental conditions – and our customers always trust in their precise and reliable performance.
Anschütz has a strong commitment to maintain the highest standards of quality for the entire range of products and systems. Quality management without compromise is part of all phases during procurement, production and shipping. Each single product is meticulously tested before shipment with testing levels far above basic IMO requirements. Finally, the continuous improvement of internal work processes ensures a maximised, customer-oriented performance as well as the maintenance and extension of the well-proven quality and reliability known from our portfolio. Anschütz maintains a quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 which is regularly audited by LRQA for system certification.

Our company is committed to meeting the highest standards of cyber security. This includes meeting specific requirements, such as the UK Cyber Essentials Plus scheme. This certification demonstrates our commitment to the security of our systems, data and the continuity of our business processes.
By meeting the requirements of Cyber Essentials Plus, we demonstrate that we have implemented robust security measures to protect ourselves from common cyber threats. This includes effectively controlling access to our systems, ensuring secure configurations, protecting against malware and viruses, regularly updating software and securely managing networks. Anschütz is certified as an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO). Within the international supply chain, our company takes the role of a manufacturer and exporter. As such, Anschütz has been approved by the German Customs Administration on the basis of compliance with WCO or equivalent supply chain security standards.

The REACH Regulation (Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006) has been in force since 2007 and aims to ensure a high level of protection of the environment and human health. At the same time, it seeks to ensure the free movement of chemicals on the internal market and to promote competitiveness and innovation. REACH is used to collect comprehensive data on chemicals and places high demands on manufacturers, importers and users of chemical products. For example, all substances on the European market must be registered and evaluated for each manufacturer or importer from an annual quantity of one metric tonne. The amount of testing required for each substance depends mainly on the quantity manufactured or imported and the expected risks of its use.
We have established internal processes to ensure that all REACH obligations are met during production and that only REACH-compliant products are shipped.
