With all hardware moved into a dedicated 19-inch rack, the INS offers reliability and tremendous flexibility in an ergonomic bridge design while simplifying maintenance tasks.

Its design and equipment make the RRS Sir David Attenborough one of the most advanced scientific maritime vessels ever constructed. Safe and accurate navigation takes place under the stringent requirements of the Polar Code ice class 5 and LR NAV1 IBS notation.
