The German-Norwegian joint project U212CD by tkMS sets new standards in submarine technology and underwater operations: advanced technologies, modern sensor systems and enhanced automation increase range, effectiveness and operational capability. Anschütz contributes to these submarines with advanced system solutions. Visitors to the UDT in Oslo at the end of March can find out more.
Over the decades, Anschütz has gained extensive knowledge and experience in submarine systems across various submarine classes. Based on this expertise, the product portfolio has evolved from individual sensors, such as the gyrocompass with its pressure-resistant repeater compasses, to integrated navigation, 3D steering control, and automation solutions like battery monitoring, mast control, tube control or payload handling. The integration of platform systems based on a new, modern system architecture enhances flexibility and adaptability, offering the potential to develop additional capabilities for the submarine.
All these solutions are strictly based on a common technological foundation. An open architecture with standardised interfaces and a unified set of hardware and software tools ensures high durability, compliance with the latest safety, security and quality standards, and helps to substantially reduce effort and costs.
