Anschütz is an experienced integrator of customised navigation and Command and Control (C2) systems. We transform the integrated bridge system into an effective and tailor-made integrated mission system to fit the growing mission profiles of small combatants like Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs), Patrol Vessels (PVs) and high-speed interceptors.
We design integrated mission systems based on the SYNTACS NX C2 system that effectively support the crews on board through enhanced situational awareness, high mission performance, ease of use and low training requirements.
Anschütz provides customised and highly effective integrated solutions for tactical operations, combat and navigation.
As a solution partner, we accompany our customer throughout the entire process, from the project initiation and requirements specification through system design to implementation and navy-specific after-sales services (including logistical services, system maintenance and technical service according to customer requirements).
Our integrated mission systems combine a SYNAPSIS NAVAL navigation and bridge system, a SYNTACS NX C2 system, mission-specific software modules and sensors and systems as required. SYNTACS mission system solutions can be extended to shore stations to provide command and control over fleet and drones as well as full maritime domain awareness.

The protection of critical infrastructure, harbours and coastlines is a major task for modern coast guards and navies. They need to be able to deploy fleets of fast, versatile units such as PVs or interceptors to accomplish their missions. The SYNTACS C2 system provides operators aboard and ashore with a comprehensive situational awareness and full command of the scene from a single workstation.
SYNTACS compiles an operational picture from the collected data and presents the operator with a clearly structured dashboard for tactical navigation, mission planning and execution, and basic combat capability. Capabilities also include a solid-state radar for surveillance and navigation, alarm and guard zones with intercept capability, search and rescue, data links to share a common operational picture and self-contained weapon systems.
Unlike conventional systems, which often feature systems and components from different manufacturers, SYNTACS provides all these capabilities in one integrated package. This simplifies installation and servicing and leads to a space-saving system design in the wheelhouse.
OPVs often have far-reaching tasks such as area surveillance and protection of critical offshore infrastructure, as well as anti-smuggling or anti-trafficking operations. With SYNTACS, Anschütz offers an integrated solution for navigation and tactical command that extends capabilities on board.
SYNTACS integrates and processes all available data to transform a navigational picture into a full maritime picture, which is then distributed via a common user interface. This maritime picture significantly improves the situational awareness and provides tailor-made features such as the definition of surveillance areas and alarm zones, search and rescue, classification and tactical manoeuvres such as intercept or stationing. SYNTACS also integrates an electro-optical system and surveillance radars, helicopter guidance, tactical data links and mission data recording. Its multifunctional, space-saving workplaces are ideally suited for vessels with a short path between navigation and operation in the combat information centre – such as OPVs.
